Black and White Checkerboard Pecan Bark: The Holidays Are Coming!



Greetings! Here is a really quick and easy candy recipe that will just wow the people you share it with! This just starts out with some good quality chocolate baking bars, I have chosen Ghiradelli because it is a great brand and it is great quality chocolate.

Lay out your white and dark chocolate squares on a baking sheet that has been lined with foil in a checkerboard pattern.

Preheat your oven to 250 degrees while you are getting your chocolate ready. Then place the pan in the oven and turn the oven off.

Leave the chocolate in the warm oven about 10 minutes, just enough time for the chocolate to become soft, but not fluid.

Remove from the oven and using the end of a wooden spoon, swirl the chocolate together lightly.

Top with about 1 1/2 cups of toasted pecan halves and press them in so they have good contact with the chocolate.

Place the baking sheet into the fridge for about an hour to set up.

Remove and break up into bite size pieces. Store in an airtight container until ready to eat or share.
