Greetings! I should have had a holiday craft for you today, but scheduling conflicts and other things just prohibited that from happening. So I recall someone asking me to show them how to make a pumpkin pie latte because it was their favorite from Starbucks. So this is how I perceive a pumpkin pie latte would be, iced and blended. I must confess, I have never had one from the coffee house, so I had to do a little reverse engineering and think about what pumpkin pie in a cup would taste like. This really does taste exactly like that!
We always have canned pumpkin on hand because we enjoy it year round and we give a spoonful to our dogs in their morning breakfast. A can of pumpkin would last a long time if you were only making these in the morning so what I would suggest is that you fill an ice cube tray with the pumpkin and allow it to freeze. Then pop the cubes out of the tray and store them in a zip lock bag in your freezer, then when you are ready to make one of these wonderful drinks, you can just pop 2 cubes into your drink mixer and you will add to the frostiness of the beverage!
I cannot tell you how much this was enjoyed! Rick really liked it too and it did, in fact taste like pumpkin pie.
I hope you try this and I hope you love it!
